Small local pet store. Sell Guinea Pigs, birds and fish. Also sells small amounts of pet food, treats and toys. Good for the small things like water bottles etc.

Lovely little shop

I love dropping by here to pick up my fish food. They have a great selection of fish and in a very healthy state and well maintained I also like the dog treat selection as they have started there own brand and they are very good quality at an affordable cost Staff are very accomadating and very knowledgeable in there chosen area, if they don't know they will call another member who does know

This is a smaller store and it doesn't hold as much of a range as the stores. I guess you could compare it to Tesco and Tesco express. This is why I have rated it 4 stars. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The shelves are well stocked and you can get much of the basic range. You can buy fish there they also have a small adoption centre, usually a rabbit or two there looking for a new home. There is parking outside with a disabled bay and wheel chair access.

Great quality products and personable service. I described over the phone the specifications I required for a new, custom dog lead after my Malamute managed to pull(!) a nylon lead apart. The new lead - a synthetic rope control lead with solid brass fittings - arrived in Scotland within 2 days and was precisely as I had visualised and described to the gentleman at KJK. I can't see my Malamute pulling this lead apart! Would recommend without reservation KJK Ropeworks to all.
